Creative Cloud allows businesses to use Photoshop, Premiere Pro and other creative products from any computer connected to the internet, storing the projects in the cloud. The failure occurred during a database maintenance activity and took around 24 hours to restore service. Adobe has offered compensation to those affected, which will be considered on a case by case basis.
