WeWork recently acquired a company that was responsible for phase one of all project management, design, and architecture of We Work offices in the UK. Based on the exceptional successful rollout of phase one We Work decided to set up the new company as a dedicated task force for phase two in the UK.
Currently located at the largest WeWork on the planet, its next phase is to execute rollout at more than 30 locations. Following the buyout, WeWork discovered that it had acquired a sought-after company that did not have a supporting IT infrastructure.
WeWork designs and builds physical and virtual shared spaces and offers office services for entrepreneurs and companies. Located in 77 cities in 23 countries, the brand, with its 250,000 strong membership, seems on a mission to conquer the workplace.
CHALLENGE
Following the buyout of a company, WeWork was required to set up an IT infrastructure for its newly acquired business from scratch.
WeWork did not have a solution at hand to reliably deploy a task force for the next stage of the project. WeWork needed a dedicated, virtual IT department.
SOLUTION
The company’s data and applications were migrated and set up on the Zhero Cloud infrastructure supported with secure UK-based data access.
RESULT
The company’s employees have 24/7 global file access. Zhero continues to provide 24/7 immediate and on-demand support and ongoing fully automated security maintenance on the entire network.

WHAT ZHERO DID
This is how Zhero applied smarter technology to deliver dynamic IT solutions for the company: Zhero designed a unique and speedy serverless IT infrastructure and implemented a bespoke hybrid cloud solution for data storage. The systems are highly scalable with a low-cost per user and modelled on Zhero’s Cloud infrastructure.
Zhero also installed virtual desktops, thereby enabling system integration and advance reporting to key staff. Employees had full access to the Zhero Cloud Software as a Service application which was modelled on Microsoft SQL infrastructure. WeWork has fully integrated 24/7 IT security and systems monitoring, complete with tried and tested remote working capability.
