An emergency security bulletin from Adobe has recommended that users of Adobe Flash player update immediately after a vulnerability was found.

The weakness left the program open for hackers to take control of computers remotely, which could enable them to run code or access information. The vulnerability is actively used in other systems, therefore the discovery has resulted in a Priority 1 rating and an immediate update from Flash in order to rectify the issue before the monthly update is released. Those who use Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, in both PC and Mac, are especially at risk.

All users are advised to visit the Adobe Flash Download Centre to update their versions of Flash immediately in order to keep their computers secure.
