How Citygate streamlined contract and supplier management with bespoke software solutions.

Citygate Automotive is one of the UK’s biggest car dealers with over 20 locations in London and the South East.  

Citygate has more than 100 contracts associated with each of its locations. These all need to be stored, visible and easily accessible to people with the relevant permissions.  

Citygate also needs an accurate and up-to-date record of its key suppliers and their SLAs. An automated ticketing system needs to be in place to ensure that supplier contracts are renewed in time. 

CHALLENGE

Citygate’s extensive contract and supplier portfolio needed an effective IT management system to facilitate uninterrupted operations.  

Citygate did not have an automated supplier and contract management system in place to automate processes and renewals. 

 

 

SOLUTION

Bespoke software was developed to store, manage and automate all of Citygate’s supplier information and contracts at all locations. 

RESULT

Citygate had access to bespoke software available on desktop and mobile that ensured seamless management of all suppliers and contracts. Contracts were renewed in a timely way. 

THE IT CHALLENGE

As a large automotive dealer, Citygate was faced with the problem of effectively managing 100s of contracts and suppliers spread across many locations. The company did not have automated software to support the management nor the IT skills to develop the necessary software. Citygate needed an experienced developer who could take this task on. 

WHAT ZHERO DID
Zhero designed and developed bespoke supplier and contract management software for Citygate. Contracts and suppliers were allocated and stored per location, including contact details, general supplier documents, SLA for each supplier, and confidential access and permissions applied across the board. The physical location of devices from suppliers was also specified. 

  

Zhero’s software included an automated ticketing functionality to enable expiration dates, reminders and renewals of supplier contracts. Confidential sites and staff training videos were also developed as part of the software package.

Zhero’s bespoke software means that Citygate enjoys an automated and secure workflow system for supplier and contract management. Managers with permissions can access all information per location, and contact renewal is done using an automated ticketing system. Using software automation, Citygate now has streamlined administration and can focus on business-critical aspects of the company.
