ACCOUNT MANAGER
A successful international IT company based in Century City is looking to hire an Account Manager who is responsible for maintaining client relationships
Responsibilities will include:
Client Liaison
- Schedule and run account management meetings with clients dedicate to your assigned client base
- Client check-in calls to maintain relationships
- Feedback and follow-up on requests for quotes
- Follow up on queries with projects/service desk to enable client feedback
- Ensure that the team is on track with weekly goals and tasks
- Host weekly and where relevant internal meetings to plan for weekly goals and measurables
Upsell
- Allocate tasks to internal sales
- Identify and upsell prospective solutions to the existing customer base
- Identify areas of revenue generation within 3rd parties as well as customers within client base
System
- QC quotes in the system, in accordance with the agreed process, authorisation and timelines
- QC system templates
Internal Liaison
- Liaise with Projects team ahead of projects to ensure client requirements are met
- Liaise with service desk team for any assistance required for prospect solution upsell
- Minimum 5 years experience within the IT Managed Services sector (compulsory)
- Experience with Microsoft Cloud Services such as 365 and Sharepoint
- Strong technical skills
- Strong working knowledge of Cloud Services such as Azure and AWS
- Strong working knowledge of basic IT terminology like LAN, WAN, Raid, firewalls / VLAN, active directory
- Proven sales experience with products such as CISCO, Ruckus, Dell, Fortigate, Mimecast, Sophos
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- You must also be able to demonstrate you can work in an organised way, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage teams and encourage a collaborative working environment
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Highly professional
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with colleagues
- Valid driver’s license, own transport, and willingness to travel
- Low maintenance (great personality, no emotional outbursts, takes constructive feedback well)
- A self-starter, able to hit the ground running
- Deadline driven
- Eager to learn and grow long-term with the team
